Village are situated in flood prone area which falls under drainage basin of the river Kura, resulting erosion water logging, loss of life and building of general phenomenon. Farmers of these Five GPs are living in acute poverty in absence of proper land and crop cycle plan affected by the floods. Low production of crop is possible during the year which is also under rain fed condition lack of irrigation facilities. Low water table is another problem due to river trench for irrigation facility. The working group is migrating to big cities in search of employment opportunities for few months to big cities. technical input by the project team as well as services available at government level through proper access to them. Technical support will be provided to plan at family level as well as village level to cope with the natural resource management in such a way so that environmentally balanced management for the sustainable and progressive development. Siddharth Nagar, especially faces significant developmental challenges due to high population density and widespread deprivation among marginalized communities, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. These groups struggle to meet basic needs and face issues related to health, nutrition, education, and access to government entitlements. Migration for employment often leaves women, children, and the elderly vulnerable and socially insecure. Health and nutrition are critical concerns, particularly for women and children, who often lack awareness and access to essential services. Education poses another challenge, as communities are generally uninformed about their rights under the Right to Education (RTE) and how to navigate the educational system. Poor local governance and social dynamics further hinder the implementation of government schemes. Existing platforms like Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committees (VHSNC) and School Management Committees (SMC) are not effectively serving these vulnerable populations. Strengthening these platforms through community mobilization and better coordination with service providers is essential.
