Krishna Deenbandhu Sansthan (KDS) is a not-for-profit organization.KDS focuses on promoting community-based livelihood, empowerment, ensuring quality education in primary schools and entitlement support to migrants of poor in rural area of Siddharth Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh.KDS also works with other NGOs to facilitate extension of its learning and experiences through hand-holding support leveraging outreach in the process.
Capacity building and institutional development are inalienable part of its support to the agencies it works with.At present KDS is focused in underdeveloped part of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. One of the core strategies of the organization is Gender Equality.
KDS believes in gender equality that ensures women and men the same entitlements to all aspects of women development, equal respect, equal opportunities & Choices and equal power to shape their lives. Krishna Deenbandhu sansthan (KDS) is registered as Societies Act under Registration No. 1167/2015-2016. and80G of the IT Act, 1961, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.
Krishna Deenbandhu Sansthan came into existence in 2014 at Bhagta village of Siddharth Nagar district of Eastern Uttar Pradesh as a brainchild of few enthusiastic young people who were inspired by the teachings of Secretary grandfather .
After two years KDS got legal status when it was registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 in 2016. KDS has a well-equipped youth team to implement various programs and has strong coordination with government stakeholders at block and district level.
KDS is mainly working for the empowerment and rights of the weaker, downtrodden, deprived and backward people in the society. Over the years, the organization has identified the major problems and issues faced by the community in the area: food security, floods and water-logging, low income from agriculture, low literacy, high migration, lack of awareness of women about health and hygiene. KDS has a well-equipped youth team to implement various programs and has strong coordination with government stakeholders at block and district level.

KDS is tackling these problems and issues through a convergence of approaches to create awareness, build capacity and provide a broad base for solutions. Developing people's organizations in the form of women and men's self-help groups; livelihood interventions like sand casting agriculture, sustainable and technical agricultural practices, income generation; and functional support in addressing these problems.
